This is 소주 (soju), which is to Koreans what vodka is to the Russians. Yep, that's a 3.6 l bottle for slightly more than 8,000 won (CAD $7.22).
The kicker? These photos were taken at my local supermarket.
So how much is a really good bottle of single malt scotch?
ReplyDeleteProbably just as much (if not more) as in Canada, unfortunately. The name-brand alcohol costs just as much as at home, it's just that they have incredibly cheap (and probably terrible) ripoffs.
