Creepy things my kids bring to school

Image SFW but after the jump because it disturbed me... this is one of my kid's pencils.

Yes, that is a pencil. And it belongs to a Grade 3 student, who I would hope doesn't understand the darker side of syringes.

  1. They banned those pencils from my school in Korea, I'm surprised that they allow them elsewhere. I know it was something people made a fuss about way back when, maybe they've decided it's fine, but I always found it creepy! Especially with the way some kids played with those...

  3. I'm so glad I'm not alone, Brad. And another one. What is 'the jump' and what would happen if you were BEFORE the jump?

  4. Marlen - Stpehen sxplained this to me. SFW means "safe for work" or ok to open at your desk. It's not offensive, or an off-coloured joke that some may not appreciate... I imagine SFK could mean safe to open if kids are present! And the jump is the spot where you click to "read more" on the blog. So "SFW after the jump" means it's not too offensive, but Stephen would rather it not be displayed on his main page each time someone goes to his blog.
